The high-profile design of the Dunk High provides ankle support and features molded padding around the ankle for a more comfortable fit than the original. The classic leather upper has been improved with smoother edges on the leather, creating a sleeker style and more comfortable fit where materials overlap. Perforations in the forefoot enhance breathability to help keep feet comfortable. And, to help keep the tongue from sliding down or moving from side to side, it features a new spring-hinged tongue design. The sturdy rubber sole of this shoe wraps up to help protect the foot and is stitched on at the forefoot--making it resistant to all manner of abuse--while a leather overlay on the toe enhances durability in this high-wear area. The flexible rubber outsole features heavy stitching to make it even tougher.
