Perfect for slow pitch

Zeke Edmonton, Ab September 01, 2017
Had ruptured my fascia tendon in bottom of foot wearing conventional steel cleats due to the fact they had not much cushion (non removable insoles and no room for adding additional insole cushioning). I opted for the Salomon Speedcross 4 because they would give me the same support in the heel and arch as regular running shoes but with the extra traction of the lugs on the soles. They have proofed to be excellent. For proper tightening and loosening of the speed laces google this and watch the "you tube" as the instructions with the shoes are not clear at all.
Pros:
Comfortable, Lightweight, Arch Support, Good Cushioning, Great Traction, Removeable insoles for drying
Cons:
none

Feel really nice underfoot but

Srbell Kelowna February 13, 2017
Like all speedcross versions, trail grip, cushioning and stability are excellent. Problem is durability. Two weeks (max 200k) and the toe boxes are starting to tear. Once that starts it only takes a few more descents and they're done.
Pros:
none
Cons:
none

Light weight hiking shoe

SebLev Vancouver January 14, 2017
I've gone hiking 4 times with them so far and they have been fantastic. They are light weight, but don't compromise on material quality and durability. The grip works great for either running through the forest or climbing up steep mountains.
