Holes in the Toes
The Gel-Kayano 31 model is great with one exception. The toe box was not stable and I ended up with holes in the toes. Which is why I switched to another model.

A large step down in quality
I have been a long time user of kayano sneakers. The 31's are not even in the same class. They have reduced the fabric on the upper so they squash the foot, the padding is cheap, and they squeak. I work in medical and my last pair required no breaking in. They were like walking on clouds. These however make my feet sore and fatigued. I will be looking for a new kind of sneaker for my next pairs.

Not So New Shoes

Shoes were obviously worn and dirty when I opened the box. There is black on the white soles, and hair and debris inside the shoes. Unacceptable.

An Excellent footwear product

I always find the Gel KAYANO running shoes to be an excellent product. They provide superb support and comfort. (As a small side note I did not receive my Canadian tire rewards for the purchase of these shoes.)
Yes, I recommend this product.

Disappointed in Sporting Life
The pair I received had stains on them and had obviously been worn or tried on. As they had been on sale, I checked to see if there were and left in my size but they were all sold out at this point. Kinda disappointed with Sporting Life with sending these to me without checking their state first. I don’t live close to one so returning isn’t easy.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good shoe
I have bought these in the past for running. They have excellent cushioning. For a ladies runner, they should make the shoe more narrow. I feel my foot moving around in the shoe. The Lululemon runner fits a narrow foot better.
