I generally H A T E tennis shoes in general, they've just never been comfortable to me. So if I'm telling you these shoes are good, they're GOOD. Spectacular, even. These shoes changed my view on tennis shoes: they broke in incredibly quickly, they're comfortable and easy to make quick movements in (I use them for fencing), and they're super supportive. Go with these shoes, you won't regret it!

I bought these a few days ago and they're really comfy but they are a bit narrow in the toebox. I would say to up half a size when ordering. Overall good fit and cushion

Not so good for badminton

I bought them basically for playing badminton. I spent the first couple weeks for general workouts to break into them, and they felt fine. For short runs also they felt fine. Started using them for badminton since the last 3 days and they have been giving me achillis tendon and heel pain. :( Not sure if I'll use them anymore.

I spent some time searching for a new pair of sneakers. In the end I stayed with Asics because I didn't want to try a brand I wasn't familiar with. The 81/2 that always served me well did not this time. Pretty disappointed. They are too small and there isn't the same amount of cushion as my other Asics. Adding an insole just made the tightness worse. I've bought and loved multiple 81/2 Asics in the past but something is different.
