Remove alarm feature!!

I bought this Fitbit for 2 reasons, to track my activity and for the vibrating alarm. I share a room with my 16 month old son (is what it is, times are tough ok) and the alarm on my phone would wake him when I was getting up to get ready for work or workout for my morning me time. The vibration on this, even on ‘strong’ is barely detectable when awake, so much worse asleep. I have been late for work twice because I’ve slept right through it. Not at all what I was expecting. If you’re looking for a cool, quieter alarm clock, this ain’t it!

Disappointed

Everything started out great but within a month the watch no longer alerts me to when I need to get moving. The reminder was always weak so I increased the strength to strong - but now it doesn’t remind me at all. I Googled how to fix it but it didn’t work. I am disappointed as my old one worked fine. BTW this is my 3rd or 4th Fitbit and they only last about 2 years before they need to be replaced. I have never had this particular problem with any of my other Fitbits

Cannot be used by children under the age of 13

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter, but children under 13 can’t have a regular Fitbit, so she can’t even use it!!! When trying to set it up in the app, the app doesn’t allow children under 13 to add a Fitbit other than the ‘Ace’ option. It’s too juvenile for my daughter. What a waste of time and money. This information should be shared prior to purchasing a Fitbit device

Can no longer recommend

Used to have this one too. After the last "update" to their app, it was a downgrade to less information and very user-unfriendly. Overall, unappealing. I found most Fitbits to have shorter and shorter battery life and always had problems syncing. Google has bought Fitbit and they have been dismantling it, bit by bit, ever since. As of 2025, Fitbit will no longer be supported. Maybe give that some thought before buying. ~ a very disappointed long-time Fitbit user
