Perfect Balance of lightweight and roomy

It strikes a great balance between being lightweight enough to bring on adventures while still feeling roomy and substantial once it’s set up. Setup is quick and intuitive, there’s plenty of space for two people and gear, and it has held up well in changing weather. I especially appreciate that it feels like a real, durable tent without being overly complicated or bulky. A great all-around option for camping and outdoor trips.

New Outdoor Program Tents

We purchased 6 of these for our youth outdoor program. We take youth from the city up into the Uinta Mountains of Utah. We just got back from a backpacking trip at the end of September. It was cold enought that our water froze. The tents were great though. The color coded poles, tent and fly strap make it very easy to set up for anyone. The vestibules are roomy for two and we love the full coverage fly and the roof headlamp pocket. I also appreciate the full rounded zip doors and the built in keepers to keep the doors open. Overall a great tent. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Survived Iceland winds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is my go to for Algonquin Provincial Park backpack camping. It is a bit heavy, but I didn't want to buy a new tent for my Iveland trip. I brought it to the Icelandic Highlands for 6 nights on the Laugavegur trail and it passed the wind test (86-122km/hr!)..I used all guylines and some specialized stakes (not included) and was very worried all night that it would rip, but it did not and we survived to tell the tale. We had rain, light snow and winds, which the tent handled beautifully. Definitely recommend. I have the 2017 orange/grey model..Thanks for having my back, Marmot!

Love this tent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent held up really well at the basin of Mt. Baker with high winds. This was our first night with the tent and we were blown away. The footprints kept us warm, and the inside was spacious. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color, easy to put together! I was looking for a nice car-camping tent and this definitely fits the bill. I'm 5'5" and my partner is 6'1" and we both fit comfortably. And there's a door on each side for an easy exit. There's easy to find pockets for storage and an overhead clip for a lantern. It packs down small enough, that I expect it will work for a short backpacking trip as well. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Marmot Tungsten 2P was easy to set up, surprisingly roomy, and the included footprint made camp setup effortless. It felt sturdy and well built, packed down easier than I expected, and was simple to strap onto my pack and get moving. The Solar/Red Sun color added a great splash of personality, and after a weekend of adventure on Grandfather Mountain, I came home ready to hit the trails with my Marmot again.
