Nothing is perfect

It's a plastic covered metal rope. It does what's its advertised too. Hurts when you get hit in the face.

Wouldn’t recommend

I usually love Nike products but this jump rope isn’t the best. After weeks of using it, the rope is still kinked in many spots due to initial packaging. I’ve tried to get the rope to straighten but haven’t had any luck. Makes it hard to skip when the rope you’re jumping over isn’t straight.

Revised instructions needed

Existing instructions to cut to length: 1) loosen ball bearing with provided Allen key. 2) position ball bearing on rope where needed 3) tighten ball bearing with Allen key. 4) cut to length and reassemble handle. Needed instructions 1) struggle with ball bearing being tightened by worlds strongest emerging world factory worker 2) get vice grips to hold ball bearing 3) bend provided Allen key but manage to loosen screw in ball bearing. 4) wonder why ball bearing won't move still, further loosen screw until it falls out 5) spend 30 minutes on hands and knees finding tiny screw 6) pet dog who is wondering what you are doing, but find small screw using a flashlight 6) bearing still won't move, wonder if said factory worker is not actually in-humanly strong and start wondering if they are putting the bearing on while plastic coating on rope is still hot. 7) wonder if globalization is good or bad 8) use a pair of pliers in addition to vice grips to get bearing sliding on wire 9) discover measuring process is difficult if you, like most people, only have 2 hands. Use athletic tape to hold bearing where needed. 10) drop tiny screw again, swear and curse the system and the world in general 11) get reassembled but nick wire when removing athletic tape with a pocket knife, wonder if that will ultimately fail 12) start skipping...

Difficult to Adjust

The packaging identifies this rope as adjustable, but it does not tell you that you need wire cutters to do so. It's not a great product, the handles aren't comfortable to hold, and now that I have adjusted it, the end of the very rough-cut wire scrapes and squeaks inside the handle. Annoying and underwhelming.

Cheap Speed Rope

Definitely a disappointing product. A poorly made plastic toy that has yet to uncoil. I resorted to gluing on the plastic caps.
