Annoying squeak and not completely waterproof

Developed an annoying and loud squeak whenever walking in both shoes after only a few months, even when it's not raining. Also not as waterproof as it claims: I could feel my toes getting a bit damp after some rain. Would like a refund.

Overall it was a nice pair of shoes that performed ok, but it starts to have the squeaking noise from only the left shoe with each step I take. It's only 2 months after i bought it even though I have never worn it for running.

Comfortable but Not Suitable for Rain

I bought these shoes mainly because they are advertised with Gore-Tex waterproof material, which made them seem perfect for winter running and rainy days. In terms of comfort and fit, they are actually very good — lightweight, supportive, and comfortable even on longer runs. However, during my very first run in light rain, my feet got wet. The water started coming through much sooner than expected, which was extremely disappointing considering the premium price and the Gore-Tex feature. I wasn’t running through deep puddles, just normal wet pavement conditions. For a shoe marketed as waterproof, this is unacceptable. I specifically chose this model to avoid exactly this situation during winter training. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend these for rainy or winter conditions.

Almost Perfect

I exchanged my defective Salomon AlphaCross that did not last a year and got these Nikes and glad I did. They are very comfortable, have better build quality and keep my feet dry. Only knock on these are that the anthracite can give the shoes a dirty appearance and the salt stains on the side of the soles but no regrets

Frustrating

The whole process was frustrating. I bought shoes on sale at sportchek.ca . It took me >2 weeks to get them, but not without me having to follow up. I tried emailing them, but they never got back to me. So I phoned them. They apparently forgot about my shoes. So they resent them. When I got them, they definitely fit half a size too small. I definitely wouldn't recommend them for running as they're clunky & heavy. I wanted them for casual & waterproof. So hopefully they're waterproof. I have to return/exchange them for a bigger size, but because of their delay, the sale's over & I likely won't be able to exchange them without paying more. Not a happy camper.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Really great waterproof shoe

Very comfortable for cool weather running. The tread is amazingly grippy and the Goretex keeps your feet dry. Some may not like the quilted look but I love the uniqueness of them.
