Product Details

The Nike Men's ZoomX Vaporfly Next 4 Running Shoes is a mile-eating machine that just got lighter. Nike has trimmed weight all over from the previous iteration without sacrificing performance. And the carbon fiber Flyplate and ultra-responsive ZoomX foam midsole combine to give you race-day speed. The result is more fine-tuned racing running shoes that’s trusted from the mile to the marathon.

  • The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel

  • Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam is lighter and unlocks more energy return

  • Engineered mesh on the upper offers improved comfort and breathability

  • The upper, midsole and outsole is trimmed for a lighter feel without sacrificing performance

After 4 runs in total 72km the shoes fell apart. As a first impression was great durability very bad. Also complaints service very poor leaving me without racing shoes 3 weeks before marathon.

I love these shoes so much, and I hate the fact that they start falling apart after about a week of running. The bottom soul starts to unglue. I’ve started realizing that Nike has had a problem with their soul and cushioning starting to squeak or unglue from the shoe and I wish they went back to their other adhesive

I’ve been a loyal Nike runner for years, but the Vaporfly 3 has been a real disappointment for me. On a recent longish run, I developed a pretty severe blister on the arch/inner side of my foot, something I’ve never experienced before. The irritation was bad enough to affect my stride and cut the run short. Looking at the shoe afterward, it seems like the upper and/or internal structure creates a pressure point in that exact area. Note the seam placement.... what is that? how does it make sense? For a shoe at this price point, designed specifically for long-distance performance, this is a major issue. Comfort and reliability over longer mileage should be a given, not a gamble. I really wanted to love this shoe the ride feels fast but the fit and upper construction just didn’t hold up for me. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t trust it for longer runs or races again.

These are my first pair of race day shoes with a carbon fiber plate in them and I think they're great, but I do think if they added one or two of those air pouches in the sole it would help a lot with cushion/bounce.
