Purchased this for a backpacking trip on the LCT; this is a very exposed trail with minimal shade. The shirt is very light and comfortable on the skin even when wet; I doused it in water many times for the evaporative effect to keep me cool when cranking out miles in the the sun and this worked like a charm! I did not have to use ANY sunscreen as this kept me protected, oh and No static cling! Shirt didn't feel too tight or restrictive; I would recommend this item to my friends for sure. Thank you OR for a nice piece of kit.

Great shirt, but now just boring colors

I own several of these and love them. The material is light and breathable and wicks sweat really well. The sun protection is very good. The only problem is that I want to buy a couple more of them, and the really cool colors and patterns have all been discontinued, apparently. Please PLEASE bring back the bright yellow, and the bright blue, and the camouflage pattern ones.

The Best Summer Hoodie hands down

Best and lightest sun hoodie I've ever owned. I do Metal roofing construction. Roof in the summer gets unbearably hot and I need the coolest and lightest material possible so I don't die from heat exposure. Roof temperature is up to 120°. The echo hoodie is hands-down the best for hot weather. I've tried over 20 other sun hoodies and nothing even comes close to this hoodie for dealing with the hot weather. I own 4 Echo hoodies, If you want the best to beat the heat the OR Echo is #1 period. Oh yeah if OR reads it please bring back the all WHiiTE version it's my favorite.

Good for the Hood

Bought primarily as a breathable long sleeve with hood for running. Overall it is good so far & very breathable. Thinner than I had expected, so definitely more of a warm weather item. Also noted what others have said about it potentially snagging easily. Good fit. I'm 5'10, 152 pounds and the Medium fits me well. Oh and beware - the "Spice" looks red, buts its definitely bright orange! Fine for me running as I want visibility, but might be off putting to others.
Yes, I recommend this product.
