True Hzrdus 7X Senior Hockey Skates

Fit well. Very light. Getting used to the new construction.

I returned the 7X and upgraded to 9X. So far the skates have been awesome. A little tight to get into but once on, they are extremely comfortable and supportive.

I got the 7X on half price, and they are amazing value. I came from a pair of mid-range Vapors that were getting a little worn down. You do have to bake them, but once you do they give a snug fit (in a good way). I'd say they are slightly lighter than my old skates and quite firm, yet not restrictive. I would recommend profiling your blades right away, as they are very flat out of the box. I could feel the heel of the blades contacting the ice first with every stride. Waxed laces also help snug the boot further, if that's your thing.

I originally own the tf7s, it was super comfortable and the fit was phenomenal, except for a few flaws like a cracked heel on both sides and the ankle guard kept breaking. These 7x seems to had addressed these issues, hopefully , and the fit is now even better. The transfer of power to the ice is noticeable and the break-in time took only 2 skates. Overall, I became a True convert, coming from Bauer Vapors.

Great skate especially when on sale. Fit well without heat molding. after heat molding fit event better and reasonably light skate. Tried Bauer Vapor and Supremes but didn't fit well and CCM Jetspeed too only CMM Tacks series might fit me but the True fit the best(SVH knows how to make great fit skates). Almost fits as good as the Graf G35 skates that were made for fit and comfort.

First set of skates arrived, seemed fine…so I baked them and tried them once, and the tendon guard became extremely loose. They tried to tell me because they were worn, I’m at fault…like there’s some other way to know an item is defective. The manager who told me I could bake and try the skates to make sure they are all good, denied ever saying this when other workers were around. After arguing with them, i managed to get a gift card so I could reorder the same skates. Second pair of skates arrived with a punctured box, tags removed, and bake bags already used. Luckily the person didn’t ruin them and they still worked out great. If I didn’t live far enough away I probably would’ve brought these back too, but not sure how much good that would do since the manager at a DIFFERENT store tried to tell me that the 30 day money back applies to date of order and not date of delivery, then when they processed the return, they tried to give me half of my money back. I proceeded to call customer service off to the side and she waved me over to give me my refund. These were 3 seperate orders over 2 stores in the same province….3 stars for the skates, 0 for Sportchek.
