Extremely versatile and infused with comfort, this water-repellant low-top silhouette offers a bio-based EVA midsole designed for maximum cushioning paired with an upgraded All-Trac outsole designed to enhance traction in any terrain. Wherever your active lifestyle takes you, we’ve got you covered for all-day exploration. Earning the Vans Checkerboard Globe logo, this product is made up of at least 30% of one, or a combination of, recycled, renewable, and/or regenerative materials.

Bad design or very poof quality after minimal use

After fewer than 10 wears, the upper has torn on both sides while the soles still look almost new. This appears to be a material or manufacturing defect rather than normal wear. I expected much better durability from Vans and am disappointed with the quality.

The WOMENS MAKENA SANDAL BLACK / GOLD YELLOW is simple and I love the design. I am used to Havanas which are a little less rigid. The only reason I didn't give the sandal 4 stars is it rubs a bit

If you have wide feet, I wouldn’t recommend getting these. The front is really narrow and they don’t stretch. I’ve only had my shoes for 2 months and it’s already blown out in the toe area because my feet are wide

Size up or Avoid if Feet Are Wide

While the concept of them is great, I had to lace them in a way where it gave me extra room for my wider feet to lay comfortably, which unfortunately leaves gaps for debris/water to possibly get in the shoe, defeating the purpose. On dry terrain, they do a great job of being lightweight and grip uneven ground and I feel confident in them.
