Non-breathable waterproofing

I bought this a month ago. It looks good, fits well and seems to be very well made. The problem is the outer shell is nylon with a polyethylene coating. The fabric does not breathe at all and there is no venting. Even low intensity activity like walking results in feeling clammy and sweating. Wearing a long sleeve cotton shirt underneath did not fix the problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.
