V9 very different than previous versions

I have been getting 680s for the last few years and they have been consistently comfortable with no need to go to a store to try on. Unfortunately, the v9 fits completely differently to the previous versions such that it might as well be a different style shoes altogether. They are extra roomy, less cushioned, and, the thing that makes they impossible to wear, is the side of the shoe is now digging into my ankle bone because it is several millimeters higher than the previous versions of the same shoe. I'm so disappointed because I loved not having to shop for sneakers every time I need them - I could just order the same shoe and size with no fuss before - now it's back to a whole order/return or find time to go to a store.
No, I do not recommend this product.

After thirteen days of use, the finish on the top tore! I exchanged it for an identical one; the first one was comfortable, but the second one was uncomfortablebad and hurt my fingers.Terrible quality control! One is comfortable, the other totally uncomfortable.
