Nice, but runs short and wide

Jacket is pretty nice—lightweight and comfortable, with good pocket configuration. But it runs wide, especially for a running jacket, and a little short. I’m 6”1’, 175 and always wear L in Adidas. I got this in L and was thinking about sizing down, but then it would be even shorter. So I might return it.
