A nice shoe but don’t know yet if better than 4’s

The first couple of miles felt tight on the width of the shoe which is unusual for adidas for me. I don’t know yet if they are a better shoe than the 4’s only time will tell. But they are eye catching

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Quality for Price

This shoe was fast, light, responsive, in my first run I set a PB on a 10k but lo and behold like everyone else the outer toe box on the bottom already started to peel off and foam crumbled. I am assuming the power plate instead of rods can’t support the foam on this shoe. I only weigh 155 pounds and am 5’7 so not a big dude by any means. Really sucks because the shoe itself was incredible but had to return and get my money back. Hope adidas fixes the flaw and gets these ones right but I’ll be going back to the 4’s for now

No, I do not recommend this product.

PR Shoe, Boston Qualifier, great Shoe!

Just finished the St. George Marathon in 3:05, and these shoes performed incredibly well. I had no issues with wear or comfort, and the stability was excellent throughout the entire race, especially on a course with both significant downhill and uphill sections. I highly recommend trying them for yourself rather than being swayed by all the negative reviews. Everyone’s experience is different, but they worked exceptionally well for me. I’m already looking forward to getting my next pair!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Flawed design! Could have been good

First positives, light, comfortable for a race shoe and work well for my gait. Now the negatives, the durability it’s absolutely shocking! After a 10k run the they are crumbling not paint as pointed out by some on you tube the foam is crumbling. I held high hopes after loving the pro 4 but these are a massive let down with a huge flaw. I can only imagine the 5 star reviews on here are bot accounts. Avoid!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I am 7.5 in adidas brand. I love extra room.

I just finished my 10-mile morning run. I really enjoy the Pro 5. I could feel the difference: super lightweight and stable. The greater firmness provides more stability, and I was able to run faster. The sole is intact. I've read and watched videos about complaints, but the problem isn't the shoes. The problem is that we have different foot types, shapes, and strides. Underpronator, supinated, overpronator, or Heel striker. In my case, I have a neutral gait: my weight is distributed evenly from heel to toe, which gives me greater stability. I have never had problems with my knees, hips, Achilles tendons, calves, etc. I have worn various brands, but Adidas offers the best stability, comfort, and speed. I do use other brands and models occasionally, just to add variety to my training.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Race Day Shoe

These are not your average sporting goods store running shoe. This is a race day shoe and notably different from a daily trainer. I have trained for marathons and half-marathons and worn Adidas Bostons on race day at both distances. The Adios Pro 5 is completely different: much lighter, much softer but snappier, and a much higher stack. You’re not going to get the same mileage/durability as you would from your Bostons or other daily trainer, but they are built for raceday and feel drastically different in a good way. I was worried as previous models of the Adios felt unstable, but the Adios Pro 5 is very stable.

Yes, I recommend this product.
