adidas Men's Designed for Training Adistrong Workout Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are (mostly) exactly what I expected. The material and construction are excellent and the fit is in line with the sizing chart. The design is aesthetically pleasing and functional. The colour is a bit darker in real life than it appears in the pictures, which I actually prefer. The asymmetric pocket design is a bit quirky, but functionally the pocket design is fine, so not a complaint. However, the zipper pull on the zip pocket tends to stick out and hit/catch my arm from time to time. It's just a bit of soft cord, so it's not a real problem, but mildly annoying. My biggest complaint is the elastic waisband; it's too stretchy to the point where I feel like I should tie the drawcord just to prevent it stretching and thus causing the shorts to slip. This makes the otherwise perfectly sized shorts feel a bit big; if you have a phone or anything else substantial in the pocket, you'll absolutely need to tie the drawcord. For reference, I have another pair of shorts with a slightly wider waist, that actually feel smaller at the waist due to the waistband being much firmer (I've never even considered tying the drawcord on those, regardless of whether I hsve heavy stuff in the pockets). With a slightly firmer waistband and less annoying zipper pull these would be perfect.

Design and colour is good, only reason to return is the the stiffness of the fabric.
