Incredibly FUN shoe to run!

If you are a heel striker, not your shoe. If you’re stride is unstable, not your shoe. If you wear the edges of your shoes you’ll wear these out quickly. But for anyone who doesn’t fall in those category, this is an awesome shoe. Lighter, faster and easier running than its closest popular competitor, but less stable. Highly recommend running this shoe several times before deciding- they get better with 3 or 4 runs. Fit is excellent. Upper is warm and less breathable than a knit, but more supportive and comfortable. Tongue is sewn in which adds support and good fit but plan on a bit of fidgeting to get the shoes on. Heel lip from previous model would have been nice. Bottom does not collect rocks like some competitors do- yay! Outer sole has a protective layer that shows no wear after 100k. Aft-fore transition with less drop than the AP4 is at first not as encouraging of forward lean but after a few runs I found this got much better. Bottom line- awesome fit, super light, very bouncy, FAST and just as importantly, FUN shoe to run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the toe box on this shoe, I am a huge fan of the performance and feel of earlier models but the Pro 5 is the ultimate for me. I wouldn’t usually wear a new pair of running shoes on race day without wearing in but these felt so comfortable I broke my rule and so glad I did! Already ordering my next pair!
