They bring a race-day feel to training with a propulsive feel that comes from the glass-fiber infused ENERGYRODS 2.0, which limit energy loss underfoot. They're fast, but that does not come at the cost of durability — the midsole layers ultra-light LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning with a new version of durable LIGHTSTRIKE 2.0 EVA.

This shoe is great for my weekly speed work. It allows me to feel the responsiveness and generate a quick turnover during my workouts. The shoe is very breathable, with the upper material leaning towards a synthetic mesh. This is also perfect for summer workouts in the south.

Great usage of EVA foam

The shoe is slightly stiff when running slow but becomes softer with faster speeds. The EVA foam with the rods have a nice blend of a unique comfort for those fresh (non-recovery) slow runs and my fast 5ks. I buy a lot of shoes and I’m happy to keep these in my training rotation and occasional race day races.
