I got a medium and am about a 27 waist and 40 inches in my hips and they fit a little bigger on me in the waist than a usual medium but I love them they are very comfortable they are on the shorter side which I like but if you don't like short shorts I don't suggest them. I loves that they had an elastic drawstring in them to adjust the waistband too.
