Bad heel

First time wearing Altras. I was looking for a wider toe box that’s wasn’t a true wide shoe. Wore them for a day and the heel doesn’t seat properly it slips no matter what lace pattern I tried. It’s almost as if it’s not contoured correctly to support the heel. It will slip and there is no fix. First and last time customer all in one day for me.

Pain → Performance

I switched into the Altra Experience Flow 3 early this past track season, and I can confidently say this shoe completely transformed my running career. After three years of running — two seasons of track and now heading into my third year of cross‑country — I’ve never experienced a shoe that delivers this level of comfort, stability, and performance.
Before Altra, I was running in Nike and constantly dealing with knee pain, toe cramming, and instability, especially during and after runs. As someone with flat feet, I always felt like I was fighting my shoes instead of running naturally. The Experience Flow 3 ended all of that immediately.
The FootShape™ fit finally gave my toes room to splay, eliminating the cramped feeling I used to get. The rocker geometry makes every stride feel smooth and efficient, and the cushioning hits the perfect balance between soft and responsive. For the first time, I felt stable, supported, and completely in control of my stride.
This shoe didn’t just improve my comfort — it changed my confidence. It made running enjoyable again. I’m now fully transitioned to Altra because their superior quality and design genuinely make a difference, and the Experience Flow 3 is the shoe that proved it.

FANCY, FANCY!!

I just received these yesterday, if you are sleeping on them BUY THEM! They look amazing. The sole has almost a metallic look to it and one of the best looking shoes I have ever seen. As far as comfort, they feel light, and soft but not to soft! I am excited to see how they do over the next 29 days during the test ride! However, I hope I continue to love them, the color way is amazing. WE NEED MORE OF THIS ALTRA!! I have added a pic of the shoe since I couldn't find a real pic of them anywhere. Don't sleep on them, this is the best color way I have seen yet!

Back to Altra

I went away from Altra for a while but these shoes made me come back i really enjoy the 4mm drop and the foot shape. So much better on my feet and the minimal drop is much easier on my Achilles being a bigger runner 6’0 200. Probably going to buy another pair right away so i can rotate between two pairs !

Have the Experience flow 2, which is a very good shoe! I the purchased the Experience flow 3, wow it is even better than the 2. Like the Cushing better the whole feel of the shoe is awesome, I own several Altra's and enjoy all of them, but this Experience 3 is my new favorite!!
