    Best shoes

    I have wide feet and these are one of the few shoes that don't squeeze my toes. I'm usually not a huge fan of Altra's soles as they tend to have poor grip, but these ones have the vibrant soles which is a lot better. Highly recommend.

    I got the wide version and they fit just right. Lightweight, soles grip well, but they’re on the softer side so I do feel sharper rock edges more than I would like but that’s a minor thing for me considering how comfortable and lightweight and durable these shoes feel. I was worried that they would be too wide, but they fit my feet perfectly.. Love the zero drop. I am impressed.

    Shallow toe box

    I loved everything about these shoes, but the fatal flaw for me was the rubber toecap digging right into the tip of big toe/toenail area. One of the more uncomfortable sensations I've ever had in a shoe, may as well be sticking toothpicks under my toenail. The fit was otherwise perfect, nuts they chose to run a seam RIGHT THERE. I recommend everyone try these in person before ordering online otherwise you may be wasting your time.

    I have owned many versions of this shoe in the regular version and love the fit and feel. This shoe is just better. Way, way more grip. Quality of the shoe compared to previous versions seems clearly superior. Super impressed with the improvement! Equally at home on the road, trail running, or hiking!

    I’ve been buying and recommending this shoe to everyone for several years. It’s the kind of shoe that doesn’t need breaking in. You just put it on and can go miles in them no problem. I use them for a lighter pair of hiking shoes because I can’t stand clunky boots that don’t move with your foot. They have great traction and grip.

    I work, run, play, hike, everything in these shoes. I’m a videographer/cinematographer and often times we’re working in a variety of terrain and weather all in the same day. The Lone Peak is lightweight with room for my feet to breath, but still rugged enough to to grip just about anything. If I’m being critical, they’re not my favorite shoe when I’m descending down long rocky routes. The shoe is soften enough that I find my feet slide forward and thr sole isn’t tough like a boot. Otherwise, they’re perfect (for me) and I wear multiple pair of these per week. Thank you Altra.
