Id buy again if I had too

I bought these boots for a five day Salkantay trek in Peru and put about 10 miles on them beforehand to break them in. They are true to size and fit great right out of the box. After about 100 miles of trekking, I'm extremely impressed with how well they have held up. I've used them on dry sugar sand, slick rock, small creeks, and in wet, cold conditions around 25°F. They stayed dry throughout, and paired with merino wool socks, kept my feet warm. They've been comfortable, durable, and reliable across a wide variety of terrain. These are some of the best hiking boots I've used and have performed exceptionally well on long distance treks.
True to size, durable, comfortable, and highly capable across varied terrain. I would absolutely buy them again.

my toes are free!!

I had a friend refer me to altras for a wider toe shoe so I decided to checked them out. I bought 2 pair and I will say they are awesome! I have weird long toes and it is soo so nice to be able to spread them out in my shoe. I got the lone peak 9 and the Escalante 5, and I will say they are both extremely comfortable. the escalantes's are some of the most comfortable shoes ive ever had, and the lone peaks have been great for long days on the mountain. 10/10 would recommend, if your hesitating, just try them, you wont regret it

Great boot/shoe. Same as running shoe but with the high ankle. I love the lone peak as its zero drop, large toe box, and nice cushion. I gave 4 stars because I haven't truly used the boot on a long hike yet. Have a trip planned and will update after.

These are amazing boots when you are dry. Walking through wet grass, puddles or rain your feet will be wet!

Love these boots for hiking in dry climates. Extremely comfortable and well made. Only complaint is that I expected them to be waterproof and they aren't at all, I wouldn't even say water resistant. Fix that one issue and these are perfect

Theses have been great shoes to wear on the daily and in the back country. I have had many miles on them through desert like conditions through mountain river crossing and they have held up great! They have stayed waterproof and held form well. they have gotten hot in the late summer conditions.

Was comfortable right out of the box, I have a wide toe box with a narrow heel and a low arch have a hard time finding shoes that fit. Got these at local shoe store, have had for about a month now and falling apart
