Altra Men's Timp 5 Hike Gore-Tex Hiking Shoes

I suffer from foot pain and Altras have been the answer Im slowly replacing all athletic footwear to the brand . So happy also you are offering a hiking boot in ALL BLACK that I can wear in my profession, GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!!because Im i on my feet ALOT !!. I'm an outdoorsman and these shoes are so comfortable to walk in. Look forward to new styles , me and my feet Thank you Altra!!!!!

I have been hiking in Lone Peaks, buy they were not providing the cushion that I needed. I tried the Olympus, but they run small and ended up losing the skin and nail off one of my toes. I recently completed a 300 mile section hike of the AT and also did about 50 trail miles in the shoes to prep. I went across a lot of rock surfaces in NJ, NY, CT, and MA. These shoes served me well and I am glad that they are available, especially in the size (14) that I need. Thank you Altra for making this product and having the GoreTex version available.

I love these boots they make my work day so much better. Please continue to make them in black so that I can wear them on duty.

I recently trekked EBC in a pair of them and would like to share my thoughts. First impressions: Light weight. Easy to put on and take off. The Footshape is there. The outsole worked well - I only slipped a few times on extremely loose dirt while descending, but never fell. The infamous ankle rubbing from the stitching is also there, but only when I was trying on with thin socks, so thick pairs of socks are highly recommended. Aesthetic wise, like many here mentioned, the leather parts are black, but the fabric parts are reflective that they appear a bit brownish grey and some parts in dark navy in certain lighting condition. Overall, they worked well and got me through the trek just fine.

These are a perfect fit for my all day hikes in a mix terrain. My foot is well supported. The cushion is just enough. I hate boots so rigid that you don't really feel the surface..these are not like that. They are just a touch more then a simple trail shoe which is perfect. Would recommend to a friend with narrower foot than average. I would get these again and again.

These are my every day shoe. I wear insoles and they fit perfectly in the shoe and still give me the toe space I need.

I have been wearing this shoe anytime it is wet or cold or I need traction for work and when not working. Fits great. Feels great. Works great. Definitely recommend.

It's come down to this ! A sneaker review ! But these are so good I had to post something. I'm about 6'1 200lb's and run between 13 to 14 in my shoes sizes, the last 10 years I pretty much just buy size 14. I have been wearing altra's for around 5 to 8 years and these are absolutely fantastic, comfortable, supportive and light !, ran around in the rain and my feet were dry, great grip, if I could by 2 more pairs for back up I would ! ❤️
