stylish comfort for a widefooter

The show has a luxuriousnessly wide toe box with a firm yet supportive heel with ample padding. I find the shoe durable and comfortable even after a full day of various activities. The vortex does keep my foot dry. There is some squeakiness when wet, but not as noticeable IMO. Great show. The GTX colourway also looks very sleek!

Too Small

This version of the Torin is totally different in sizing I have always taken a size 10 with lots of room, the Torin 8 was so tight I could barely get my foot in definitely not a typical size 10. Beware. Overall disappointed with the size and stack height, over the years my wife and i have bought 8 pairs, but yearly changes like tongues that dig into your foot, increases in stack height of the Torins have made me go to another shoe. Each generation has added 1-2mm in stack height disconnecting your foot from a true ground feel. Also the uppers wear very quickly, we are walkers, not runners and even so the shoes last at best 8 months until the stack height breaks down and you get instablity in the shoe strike. Finally the fabric wears at the flex areas and every pair has developed holes in the uppers. It a shame the constant tinkering with their shoe has in my opinion ruined a good shoe. While it may still be a neutral shoe, it is no longer a performance shoe that is worth the price in this category.
