Altra Men's Voyager Walking Shoes

My intention with my purchase was to have a sacrificial shoes to save miles on my precious trainers and racers. I have no intention of doing anything but walk around doing errands in these Altras. And they do that well but doesn't measure up to the Torin 5 Luxe sadly. The fit is very loose in the toe box to the point I would consider sizing down if any retailers had them to try on. The upper material is a little stiff and uncomfortable at the bend point behind the toe. Hopefully that wears down well and doesn't crack over time. I appreciate the addition of the durable and flexible XS Trek Evo Vibram sole since Altra's own sole designs wear down fast or delaminate often enough. I would have liked the ride a bit more if this was zero drop. I have grown too accustomed to that ride after 10+ years of Altra's and other neutral ride shoes.

Very comfortable shoe if you're on your feet all day at work. Only negative is the speed laces. I'm not a fan of them but swapped them out with some regular laces. Future models I would suggest adding an extra pair of normal laces with these. Other than that I love them
