    For wet runs these shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For wet runs these shoes are 100% my go to! But they are not very versatile outside of wet roads for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been running in these for a few weeks now and they've become my go-to for wet Bellingham mornings. The GORE-TEX upper actually does what it's supposed to. My feet stay dry through puddles and wet grass without the shoe feeling stiff or bulky. The new P35X foam is a real improvement over past Torins. It's cushioned, but I stay stable through my stride even on uneven trail sections in the woods by my house. I love the zero drop platform. It's what I always run in, and these give me that connected-to-the-ground feel and keep my lower back from getting achy. Fit-wise, the toe box is narrower than older Torin models, so I was a little wary going in. My feet are wide for a small size, but there was still enough room in the toe box to stay comfortable through longer runs, no pinching or rubbing. Overall, this is a solid daily trainer for easy to moderate mileage in wet PNW conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Altra Torin 9 GTX is a great, water resistant shoe. It’s the Altra Torin you know and love with a water resistant upper that’s perfect for rainy days out walking or running! The fit is comfortable and the Vibram outsole is very grippy. Anyone who wants a comfortable shoe that offers water resistance this is your shoe! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Torin 9 is one of my favorite shoes in my current rotation, so I was very excited to test the GTX waterproof version for free in exchange for my honest review. The Torin 9 GTX has a lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit combined with a stretchy, flexible yet supportive upper. The Torin 9 GTX is a zero drop shoe in Altra’s line, and also has their foot-shaped toe box helping to keep feet at a natural splay. This version of the Torin also got a huge update to a Vibram XS DURA rubber outsole making it grippier than ever. The new P35x dual density midsole felt soft, yet responsive and stable on runs, and walks. I used this shoe for outdoor runs and walks on pavement, and ventured in to the prairie grass trails, even during some much-needed rainy weather, and still had plenty of grip, and my feet stayed dry. The water beads up, and rolls right off! Even with the GTX, the shoe was still flexible, and my feet didn’t overheat. I prefer a spacious toe box and these shoes fit true to size, and width on my narrower, overall lower volume feet, and the zero drop keeps my body happy and injury-free. Big fan of Altra, and would absolutely recommend trying the Torin 9 GTX! Huge thanks to @expertvoice and @altrarunning for the amazing opportunity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They fit true to size, with an anatomical toe box that gives my foot plenty of room—especially helpful after a previous 5th metatarsal injury. As a XC coach, I’ve worn these through multiple practices and a wet race day, and they’ve kept my feet dry and comfortable on wet grass and hills. I’ve also tested them on wet roads and loose trail, and they handled both really well. My only minor complaint was some looseness in the heel, but runner’s-lock lacing significantly improved the fit. Comfortable, versatile, and approachable, these are a great option for runners of all levels looking for a daily shoe that can handle a little bit of everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed the Altra Torin GTX for rainy runs, hikes, and everyday walks. The waterproof GTX construction has been great for keeping my feet dry without feeling overly bulky or stiff like some waterproof shoes can. I especially like the comfortable, roomy toe box and the cushioning; it makes these easy to wear for longer walks or runs when the weather isn’t cooperating. They’ve also worked well on wet trails and sidewalks, giving me a good combination of comfort and traction. Overall, these have become a go-to when I know I’ll be outside in wet weather. Great option if you want one shoe that can handle rainy runs, hikes, and everyday adventures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of Altra running shoes. After trying the Timp hiking shoes and loving their cushion and wide toe box, I wanted to give these a try. While I haven't had the chance to test them in rain of any sorts yet, I do run across dewy, wet grass every other morning to reach the greenway near my house, and my feet have stayed completely dry. They adjust easily from wet grass to dry concrete without feeling slippery. I've tested them running on the greenway, running errands, and at the gym. Because of the waterproofing membrane, my feet do get a bit hot in these, especially since it's still quite warm where I live, but I am really excited to use them for cooler late fall and winter runs where that weatherproofing will help with the climate and be more comfortable. These shoes have a firm step and feel very stable. Initially my heels would slip out of the back, but I did a heel lock with the laces and it fixed that issue. In addition to their function, I like how they look too. They have a minimalist style that goes with pretty much anything. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I used the Altra Torin 9 GTX for 2 weeks and loved them! I wore them primarily for everyday wear, road running, and working out at the gym. The fit was true to size and the shoes are very comfortable. Even after over 15 wears they remain comfortable. The cushioning is moderate as well as the support. The waterproofness is great! After wearing these in the rain and walking through puddles my feet were completely dry! Vibram outsole gives these amazing traction, which is perfect for running on wet surfaces, and durability to keep you running miles longer. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a waterproof road runner who may need/prefer a wide toe box and zero drop.
