Mostly Great!

Snowshoes are best in mid-depth snow - 4-6" fresh unpacked snow. In deep - 10" plus - they sink too much. Very light and easy to use on the right snow. Grips make provide secure footing on up and downhill sections. Straps quite stiff in very cold conditions so getting them on takes a bit of effort. Once on they're very secure.

Snow shoe grind

Got these a week ago and went out to try on some soft snow along trail that others had already walked. Good grip on steep climbs where firm. Punched through a lot of soft snow and slippery walking down steep and soft areas. Easy to strap up. Straps quite long though so have a long bit that is loose.

Yes, I recommend this product.

A good option for day trips.

They give plenty of support in a variety of conditions. The harnessing system is awkward to engage with thicker mittens on. The inclusion of a spare harness strap is a nice feature and appreciated.

Designed to Fail

I purchased these snowshoes at the end of November 2025, and only began using them mid-December. The crampons grip well in trail applications where the packed base is covered only in 5-10cm of snow; however, in slightly deeper snow of 20-40 cm, the rivets securing the plastic deck to the alloy crampons pull through the plastic at the tail-most point, resulting in a non-functioning snowshoe. This is a poorly-designed, extremely unreliable snowshoe, and I say this as someone who spends a great deal of time outdoors. Not only did both 'shoes fail in a catastrophic manner, but the fact that Sportchek sells these but will not get back to me regarding replacement options also annoys me. Items like these snowshoes need a better replacement warranty than two months. DO NOT purchase these snowshoes if you are looking for a reliable snowshoe to use in deeper snow. Shame on Atlas Snowshoes for selling these.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Terrible customer service

Have not received them yet. Sport chek put a hold on them and UPS won’t send them or release them until the hold is taken off. Tried two methods to contact and still have not heard from anyone. Very frustrated with the service. The snowshoes will be great… I already have a pair.
