    Awesome skis for beginner/intermediate!

These are my first skis purchased brand new and I absolutely love them! They are very lightweight which I thought may not be a huge advantage at first but I find this makes them easy to turn and get through flat spots. They feel sturdy and don’t wobble going through choppier snow at a fast pace. I ski on groomed green and blue runs. Also, buying them in store was great because they mounted the bindings for me. Just make sure your boots fit the bindings!

Not for newbies, but good for early intermediate.

I'd bought my wife some high-end all-mountain skis for her first season, with early rise tip and tail, so she could initiate turns easier in case snow got deeper or choppy. She didn't like the 96 width of them however, and is terrified of going off-piste, so I bought her these for last season thinking they'd be perfect for her. As an experienced skier, I can see the merits this model has. It's nice quality, with good construction, and a nice fast base. So I can give it 4 stars for being what it is. But for a beginner skier that's just learning the ropes, you either need to buy it shorter than average, or just stay away from this model. It's so flat with no rise in the tail, so it keeps snagging her up on the inside of her turn. If you're a stronger skier that has your basics down and are ready to start charging some steeper green or into the blue groomers, this is a great ski choice. But if you're still a newbie, either buy it 6" shorter than you are, or look for something with a bit more early rise in your tail and shorter turn radius, making pivoting turns easier.
