Avid FR-5 Brake Lever - Pair

Installing these brake levers was easy and they feel much better than the previous ones that were on my bike. I've taken them for a few rides and they've held up well so far. For the price, they are a good value.

Message sent to Sportchek after receiving opened box with damaged contents: "The Avid FR-5 Brake Lever - Pair SKU: 331395399 received was an opened package that appears to be something returned by a previous customer. Attachment ring to handlebar on one lever is severely scratched, while the other mildly.  Attachment bolts on both levers are stripped and paint scratched as well. I tried calling 1-877-977-2435 as specified for damaged goods in your FAQ but no staff answer the phone and call disconnects. I can provide photos detailing the damage. This product was not a specified as a damaged or clearance item when I made my purchase online.   Unfortunately, this is the third instance I have received products that were not new condition. The first time there was no damage (brake cables) so no problem, but second time (broken bike lights) I returned to a physical store. I have made many purchases from Sportchek, Atmosphere and of course, Canadian Tire but  not sure if I will attempt any more online orders in the future. Please provide return shipping or credit my Visa a substantial discount on the damaged goods and I will attempt to repair. Thank you in advance for fixing.
