Covered in glitter

This mat arrived covered in glitter or tiny shreds of plastic almost looked like fiberglass, it was extremely difficult to clean off was so time consuming and got everywhere and the mat is still not 100% clean.

Fiberglass like material all over brand new mat

I ordered this mat online and when I opened it and unwrapped it (was brand new, wrapped in paper and with security seals still on), I noticed chunks of a fiberglass like substance all over the inside of the mat. It disintegrates upon being touched and got all over my clothes and the floor. I assume the manufacturer put some sort of lining in the mat to prevent sticking and it started to disintegrate. Regardless, I have no idea what it is and will be returning this mat. Disappointing for a mat that claims to be made of better materials.
No, I do not recommend this product.
