I purchased this type of jock shorts because my old Itech ones needed an upgrade. The Bauer ones are very similar to the old Itech style ones and makes for an easy transition.

Good choice for a now std pc of gear

Purchased the Bauer basic mesh jock, comparing it against the similar Itech mesh jock (which pioneered this genre of protection equipment) and the more expensive bauer core compression jock. Noticed that over time, the mesh around the velcro piece wears out so the patch ends up fraying or pinching your leg. Otherwise, good basic protection with integrated jock.

You will reduce returns by including a size chart with product info. Please consider adding a size chart for this product and youth/junior versions as well. My sonxs waist lines up with Junior Large chart on package, but a menxs small would be a better fit. Available sizes at time of thisxreview seem to jump from extra small to medium, but I can't verify the intended size ranges for either. Thanks.

I received the classic full yellow ones with a white tie string... They feel and look pretty cheap compared to the ones pictured here.
