GUMMI HONE: Honing is the process of removing burr, or small imperfections on your steel produced by grinding wheels during sharpening. We offer a collection of various hones — each with their own unique benefits — to help give you the cleanest edges possible each time you hit the ice.
Designed to be a support hone for your coated steel to help remove any remaining burr.
For Coated Steel, we recommend: Gummi Hone, X-5 Combi Hone (Porcelain/Ceramic Side Only) and the X-3 Combi Hone (Porcelain/Ceramic Side Only).
For Non-Coated Steel, we recommend: X-5 Combi Hone, X-3 Combi Hone, Basic Stone, Tear Drop Hone and the Gummi Hone.
