The heat technology is a great idea, but ultimately this skate did not work out for me. The boot is very comfortable, and the style is nice. But the battery pack for the heat feature inserts into the tongue of the boot. This makes the tongue bulky and ridged. Unfortunately this affects how tightly you can lace up your skate. When the heat is in use, the decal on the tongue also remains very brightly lit up. I decided to return.
