I am beginner hockey player, Previously had a pair of Bauer Vapour XVI's for about 15 years. Picked up a pair of the M1's on sale, was looking at M3's but didn't have my size and was in need to skates in a hurry. I have used the M1's in a public skate and one game so far. The fit is very comfortable and firm. I have wide feet and this so far has not been a problem. As I am recreational level skater, I can only say i feel very balanced and in control on these skates, while being very comfortable. It actually feels more stable in turns and crossovers than my previous skates.

Yes, I recommend this product.
