do not buy unless you have a 2nd pair of runners Blades take a certain holder to sharpen and are tough to find places that do it. Brutal design

Took these in three times for balance and sharpening. I was told to replace the blades. Spent too much money on these for my daughter, and now I have to replace the blades

The skates themselves might be fine, however the employee at SportChek never measured my feet properly and I am not stuck with a $600 pair of skates that cause extreme pain everytime I wear them. After sizing my feet and bringing these skates out to me, I notified the employee that they were top tight on my feet. I was told they would feel better after they were baked in the oven and to give it a chance. After the skates were baked, they felt a bit better, but we're still very snug. I informed the employee of this and was told that I would have to purchase the skates now, as they had been baked and fitted to my feet. I questioned him on the tightness I was experiencing with the skates and was assured they would get better as I wore them. I agreed to give it a chance and upon using them for thr first time, my feet were in excruciating pain. I decided to give them time to break-in, as recommended by the SportChek employee, however they were still no better and I attempted to return them to the store, but was told it was normal and to give them more time. After another month of pain, I once again went back to the store, but this time I was informed they could not be returned and was offered a 25% discount off a new pair of skates. I found that offer to be completely disrespectful and am hoping something can be done about this.

My son has had the skates for 1 year and the blades have broken 2 time. Clearly a design problem with the carbon fiber blades

Extremely disappointed. Skates arrived without any blades. These skates are supposed to come with blades (confirmed this with Bauer). Called Bauer and they said it’s up to Sportchek to resolve this and send me the blades. So far no resolution from Sportchek. It’s frustrating being passed around as someone else’s problem.
