Ordered on line and brought to store where they were sharpened and molded the boot . Good quality product and delivered within 3 days . Impressive!

I have been in supreme M5 pros for a year, and they just never felt right. They were comfortable but I never felt like they helped me skate, mostly because they feel loose at the ankle, and the facing is cut at a shallow angle which makes forward flexing harder. The moment I put these on I knew they were for me. They feel much more supportive through out, and the boot goes higher up at the back of the leg compared to the M5 pro, which I personally benefit from. The facing is cut a lot steeper than the M5 pros are which makes forward flexing super easy. Especially with the thinner tongue (40 oz as compared to 52 oz). Throw wax laces in these skates and its the best of both worlds, the boot is super supportive, and responsive, while still not impeding forward flex at all (even when laced tight right through the last eyelet). This allows you to not have to crank in on the laces overly tight (as I was with the M5 pros when I was looking for more stability), so your feet arent crushed, while still feeling stable and strong on the ice. Honestly these skates just make it easier to skate. Its as simple as that. Everything that I do in these skates is easier and better than it was in my M5 pros, and the skates are almost half the price. The boot construction is also the same as the M5 pros (curv composite with asymmetrical toe cap). They are unbelievably light as well, but still as supportive as the top spec boots. Unreal job by Bauer, and unbelievable value at this price point. I swapped the blades out for my LS pulse blades from my M5 pros so I didnt have to deal with reprofiling, so I cant comment on the stock steel they come with, but I did get them sharpened as a spare set and they seem fine. Would absolutely recommend these skates, they are by far my favourite pair of skates I have owned.

Went in to purchase Supreme M4xs and then also tried on the X4xs. Fit my feet so much better and way more comfortable for me. They have been amazing skates. Have used them probably about 15 times/games. Love my choice

I bought these X4's coming from an 2021 Bauer 3X Vapor skate. I am pretty happy with my purchase overall. There is an extremely noticeable improvement in the performance, stiffness, and protection of the boot over my previous pair. I've always been happy with the mid-level skates in the Bauer line-up, felt like it was the best combination of performance vs value but I have noticed that my past mid-level boots break down much faster so I was just buying new skates more often. So this time around I'm hoping the 4's will last me a longer time and perform better over that period. However, I've dropped the review to a 4-star as I am not that impressed with the steel that came with the skates. I'm sharpening more frequently and will be looking to upgrade already. I'm just disappointed this is all you get in a $549+ skate so the lack of value there is a bit of a bummer. Would rather pay $50-80 less for skates with no steel, and then purchase whatever blade I wanted.
