Poor quality control

Bought these online to replace older X5s (which were excellent). Boot cut was not even on each side, and boot flares open (challenging to tie tight). The poor construction makes for discomfort and poor fit. When I took to retailer they recognized the problem but it was 2 weeks outside the 1-month warranty. Expected better from Bauer, in particular, for higher-end skates.
No, I do not recommend this product.
