The product and shipping was outstanding. What turned the buy sour was the staff at the Sherwood Park store. Prior to my purchase I contacted the store to ask how I could use my First Responder discount for the purchase. I called the store and was told it couldn’t be applied on on-line orders, but if I bought them and attended the store, I could return them and re-buy them. I have done the same in the past showing my I.D.. When I went to the store, I was told by the clerks at the till that they needed to see a bar code. I explained to them that I had successfully applied my First Responder discount in the past and was met with “rolling eyes” from your employee’s. Frustrated, I left the store with the feeling that the clerks were not believing what I told them, and felt like in their eyes I was as lying. I can saw that after shopping at Sportchek for the past 45 years, I will never go back.
