"Oh, my eyes!"
This poorly designed little devil has annoying strobe you must endure whenever you lock and unlock the lamp - a massive design flaw. You must hold down the "ON/OFF - Function" button" precisely 4 seconds to turn off and on - all while it flashes a high intensity strobe light for some reason, either in your eyes (like just now - I can barley see to type) or around the room. A half a second too long and it just keeps on flashing. Try again. And again. All while getting zapped. Awkward, unnecessary, blinding - and anything but simple. I researched about 12 lights in detail before buying (gear nerd). Really thought I nailed it and gave my other headlamps away. It's for a trip to the Himalayas jn November. This little bugger snuck through the vetting process. So (blindingly) disappointed. (Pro tip: Never lock it and just hope it won't go on in your pack. Not to confuse you, but then it's sort of awesome, I think).

Good light, lacks some standard features to make it great though
13 days ago
Light seems to be built well, battery lasts a long time, and is plenty bright. I would expect a red light to be a standard in a light of this price, which is my only gripe. Otherwise, seems to be a solid headlamp.

Battery installation
No directions or instructions on how to install the batteries. Been struggling for 30 minutes to try to open up the case and it will not open. You need to send instructions on how to install the batteries.

Rechargable is desirable
Love to have these in our fleet of headlamps as the recharging option is ideal for everyday use and rentals. I appreciate the price point for these models as well as the variety of lumens and strobes for these headlamps. Pretty Bomber!

Better than my wrap around my neck lights, so much easier to use because it doesn’t slid off . . fantastic . . lit up the entire room . . I was shocked at how good it was . . I am a coal miners’ grand-daughter. . now I’m just like my grandpa!
