The Black Diamond ATC-XP Belay Device is a versatile belay device designed for climbers. This updated version is 30% lighter than the original, primarily due to the use of machined windows. Despite its lightweight construction, the belay device is durable. With its multiple friction modes, the belay device can handle a wider range of rope diameters, from 7.7 mm to 11 mm. The high-friction mode in the Black Diamond Belay offers three times greater holding and stopping power for better control and safety for outdoor adventurers.
