Way too Small

The large is ridiculously small. I've used the Distance 15 since it debuted and love it. I wanted this for all the new pockets, especially the big one on the back. I measured my chest in the proper place and it's 41". I am 6' 2" and 225lbs. This is just super tight. I can get it on if I loose both straps to the maximum and wear a T shirt. No way will it fit over any more/bigger layers. It feels like I'm trying to fit a medium bag over my chest. There's no way this will fit up to a size 44". Really bummed out, I'm going to have to send this back. The sizing is all wrong

This bag is used multiple times a week to carry work clothes and lunch on my commute. It fits snugly, so it doesn't jostle, even when it is full.

Durability of shoulder straps could be a concern depending on the application; no good pocket for phone (no reason it couldn't have a bigger zip pocket, see the Solomon vests). Regardless this is a great bag for fastpacking or single day adventures in the mountains. Very light, all the right features and comfy.

Great vest for all distances, the compression straps really work well to shrink it down to the size you need for your trip. The pockets are good sized for phone and snacks. Very adjustable chest straps to fine tune the fit.

As far as adventure racing goes this pack is perfect for those extended 24 hour plus races where you need to self sustain and move fast. Highly recommend. The versatility just can’t be beat.
