Black Diamond Enforcer Climbing Gloves

Great gloves with good grip. Work well to drive and for grabbing items. Keep hands warm too!

I have not used these gloves yet, and I may not as I have several pair of approximately the same weight. However, the fit and construction look first class, and the pre-curved construction fits my hand way better than many other brands. Unfortunately I was looking for something warmer and did not read product descriptions thoroughly enough! These will definitely not be warm enough for Alaskan winter climbing, so I will be exchanging them for Guide gloves, and I am hoping that they are as good fitting and as high quality as the Enforcers are!

Have not taken them out in the cold yet but noticeably a step up from the punisher with regards to the amount of insulation. Love the gauntlet for quick on/off. Excited to get these outdoors for some ice climbing this season

These have been good in ice climbing, with limited use so far. They do seem warm and do offer dexterity. A couple notes - the pinky seems to be the best sized in terms of a tighter fit, I think that is to accommodate the ice tool handle better. There did seem to be some bunching of materials inside the glove when my hands were a little damp and I was putting them on, I had to play with them a bit to get my fingers in. Overall for what they are, I have been happy and they were warm on a cold and slightly wet route, I was glad to have them. I did not place screws but took some out and they seemed to be ok for managing that. I was also able to rack the screws without too much problem. They fit ice tools handles fine.

These are really warm gloves and great for when you don't need much manual dexterity. I tried them out during a week at Ouray Ice Park when I wasn't actively climbing. They came in handy during a lot of standing around on some exceptionally cold days! The fit was good. The lining was warm and everything kept dry.

Very warm and light. Great for climbing and skiing.

While I was doing chores this morning I was thinking about a review of your products . I'm an avid outdoorsman .backpacking ,CC skiing , hiking and kayaking. I'm a carpenter by trade and in my free time I also have a small stable that requires feeding stall cleaning and all kinds of other chores . Last year I picked up a pair of your gloves at a Duluth Trading store I saw them they felt good I thought what the heck let's give them a try . I go through ot of gloves most don't keep my hands warm and years of freezing them have made it only harder to do and more important your gloves did the job they are not chore gloves or work gloves but they held up at least as good as purpose built work gloves I pretty much shredded that pair over months of dismantling and salvage work on a building from the mid 1800s last winter with Temps in the single didgets or colder most days .fast forward to this winter I searched your website and decided to give your Enforcer gloves a try it was a balmy -6F this morning doing chores my hands stayed toasty warm great dexterity no need to remove a glove to get my knife out to cut bale strings or snap in place again they felt like a favorite pair of broke in gloves right away ! I'm really happy with very your product . I know they are not designed specifically for the jobs I use them for but they are much better than the gloves you buy for that purpose . Thank you .

Only reason these are getting four stars is they are advertised within the ice climbing line. Definitely too thick for ice tools - I was using old Petzl Ergonomics - but they are excellent as belay gloves. The dual cuff and wrist closures work well for heat retention and moisture management. Perhaps sizing down might accommodate for the thickness, but I have a tough time believing that given they fit well. Just think they are too thick for ice tools and are better off belaying/warm top glove.
