Great little poles!

Great piles that come with everything you need! Snow basket and hiking one too. This is not in the features but since the tubes are straight and not profiled the are secure all the way collapsed. Min length is actually 65 cm (25.5 in) Tip to tip. My 3yo is super happy to have them for skiing. They will grow with him until he is well into his teens.

We weren't sure how you could improve something that at first glance is seemingly as simple as a trekking pole... Well we're happy we picked these up because they are a significant improvement from technology that is 10+ years old now. Enjoy the compact design and weight savings as well as the quick deploy features these poles provide!

Sturdy poles for young hikers

These may be a little more expensive than some kid's hiking poles, but well worth the money. I like the red color wrist straps - easy to see if they're inadvertently dropped on the trail. Interchangeable baskets a plus. Highly recommend.

Light but strong. They do not have the point though...slips on rocks a little more than adult poles.

Great backcountry poles for growing skiers

Purchased for the grandkids who join me for a backyard ski when they're visiting. At first I made the mistake of buying ever increasing sizes of touring poles. Then I saw these and realized that I should have just started with these. Very stable relative to most nordic poles. Now we have a few pairs of the First Strikes and they fit all kids age 3 or 4 and up. Worth the investment up front and you're all set for many years.

Yes, I recommend this product.
