    I think these are my new favorite climbing pants. I have another pair of BD pants from a few years back (I honestly don't remember what they're called) and have been liking them. I also own a couple Prana Zion pants, and while they have great stretch, they're really slim and not very durable. I was looking for something with a little more heft for longer multi-pitch routes, especially in chimneys and off-width cracks where I want a little more protection in the knees and butt.

    I have not taken them out yet, but the fit is nice and I like the knee reinforcement. These are relatively light, seem breathable enough, and will be durable. Should be good for summer alpine climbing and winter ice climbing

    Pants work great. Comfy enough to wear in warmer weather but dont let the cold in either. Rugged in rocky terrain and in the knees and butt for climbing without worrying about tearing up your pants.

    Form, Fit, Function

    Lots of hiking, a few scrambles, all of which were very comfortable in these tech pants. I liked the feature of the scuff patches. Fit was true to size. Typically wear 30-32 depending on the brand. Bought a 31 think I might need the extra room for layers (fleece, etc.), sent them back for the size 30., perfect fit. Haven't tried these on a above 70° day. Work up a sweat and the fabric had good breathability. Hoping these will be my go to pants for cooler alpine hike later this summer/fall.
