    I use them for all my adventures, hiking, cycling and climbing , on cold days or hot days they are always a great option to have!!

    Been wearing Alpine Light Pants for every hike I’ve been on the last few months. It’s the best technical pants I’ve ever owned and I’d recommend it to everyone to get at least one in the closet for use. Black diamond crushed it with these pants. It’s held up to falls, rock abrasions, thorns, sharp leaves, you name it and the pants have been rock solid. Some how this magical pair of pants is warm when it’s cold and windy, cool when it’s hot and muggy. It’s perfect for pretty much all conditions. Biggest worry was that the pants would be too long BUT they have a drawstring that locks into the perfect length for your legs! The pants are super comfy and stretch but also also aren’t super annoying with the crinkly sound. Black diamond thought of everything with these pants and I’d highly recommend them!!

    I've used these for casual wear and climbing and am happy so far. They fit well, are comfortable, and have excellent stretch when moving. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a new pair of pants.

    Good for summer alpine adventure

    Overall good pant for summer alpine rock/glacier adventures. I’d like a less baggy pant with a pocket on the left thigh as well as the one on the right.

    I've used these pants for climbing this Spring and they have a good mobility, a nice light weight that I would use on anything but a hot summer day, the built in belt works well ... maybe what I like most is the feel of cloth, which actually is not a super stretch rubbery kind of material, but more like a cotton pant than previous tech materials. They're really worked well so far, and I've withheld a star because they seem a little light to be super durable, so give it a little time and I'll update this review. Thanks BD - when you hit the mark you really hit it!
