Great everyday, every-task winter go-to gloves. A dirt bag at a ski resort is the guy who runs the chairlifts, who keeps the parking lot clear, who drives the snowmobile to move the snow-making equipment up on the mountain, who pulls your car out of the ditch. A dirt bag does not have time to mess around with a glove whose inner liner pulls off each time he removes them, especially when he is perspiring and his hands may be damp and he cannot get the glove back on in sub-zero weather, like a similarly-priced pair of insulated Mechanics gloves I recently bought. These high-quality gloves by Black Diamond deliver exceptional performance and will do so for many years. Excellent product!! Requires a break-in period for the eventual perfect fit. I own three pair now!

Snug fit

Gloves are fantastic. They do fit snug, next time I would potentially size up (wasnt available when I purchased). However the snug fit enables relatively good dexterity. Used skiing and generally outdoors and holds up well to the cold and is abraision resistent. Definitely in my always take gear pile.

Solid glove

I recently bought these on clearance great glove. I'm not sure if its a men's vs women sizing difference but as a women I find the fingers on the short size compared to the rest of the hand.
Also the included nikwax had expired in 2023 (I received them in Jan 2026) and was thick brown and clumpy. I ended up treating with a different leather protector I already had.

Rugged Beauties

Good strong gloves. They came with an oil which had dried out. The coloration helps in case you drop them on the trail which shouldn't happen if you use the provided side-clip. A bit hot for summer hiking - I wear gloves in case of downhill tumbles on rough terrain - but good in all other weathers except freezing. The lining is well-fitted although it occasionally retracts in one finger. The elastic cloth cuffs stay tight.

Nice gloves but runs small

Beautiful gloves, but disappointed unfortunately the sizes run small and nothing larger than an XL to upsize to at 8.5 in hand length so these went to my younger brother as a gift or I would've given them 5*.
