Black Diamond Men's Element Hoodie

Bought this online, not entirely sure what to expect - and it definitely was a great purchase. It's super versatile, comfortable, and well-designed. It stops the wind, doesn't add much bulk, and feels very soft against the skin. Love the hood for when I need it. Thank you Black Diamond!

Great for moderately cold endeavors and packs a great punch for its weight. It is definitely slim/fitted: works great with technical and fitted base layer and mid layers. My new favorite do it all jacket.

Nice fabric on the outer layer and nice insulation inside. Have worn a few times and the fit is right on. Well made piece of gear.

Fits great and is warmer than expected! Wore it as a layer under my ski coat and sweating in 25 degree weather. The water resistant material seems to work good as well.

Comfy, warm, and well-sized. Used for backountry skiing in mild temps and it was great.

I am impressed with the water resistant finish on the jacket so far, but I bought it more for the fit and function. So far, better than most soft shell jackets I've considered and better for the layering I can do with it.

First off, the quality of the jacket is right up there. Love the colors as well. Felt great and durable. However, fit is made for tall skinny dudes. I'm average build, 5'6. The armpits rode up so high, felt like like I was a scarecrow. Also, the jacket is long, pass my buttocks. If you're like 5'8 and above with long torso, this jacket is for you. If you got muscular arms, this jacket isn't for you. Bought the medium size and no way will I exchange for one size up because then the sleeve and everything else will be super long. This jacket is definitely between a slim and regular.
