Wanted a rain jacket / shell option and this seems perfect. Lighter weight - think perfect for spring / rainy summer day / fall but not winter. I sized up planning to layer a fleece under it for chilly spring days, and it just works. Cut is a little snugger, so good fit with long sleeve t-shirt or if you like a snug fit. Colors are fun and easy to see. Zippers seem sturdy so far. Worked well in 45 to 70 degree weekend in Chicago.

Sized up to be able to wear this rain jacket with bulkier shirts and the sleeves are so long it feels like a big & tall size vs. regular XL. Own a L in this same jacket and it's great, so the 4 stars is for fit vs performance.

I stayed dry!

Overall I like the fit of the jacket, the pockets and the zippered pit vents. What I am not a huge fan of is the size of the hood. I realize it is meant to fit over a helmet but feels pretty cumbersome without a helmet. That said the cinch on the hood does work perfectly bringing it snug to my head if you don't mind extra fabric bunching up.

Bought this thinking it was their proper rain jacket, not the super thin tight fitting shell. Final sale. Entirely the fault of SportChek.

Super stretchy and very light. Put it in pack and don’t realise it’s there. Slim type fit so consider sizing up.

My Go-To shell

The Fineline Stretch has been my absolute favorite shell for several different applications. Whether it's a rainy hike or a mountain bike ride, a windy snowshoe, or as the final layer on my way down from skinning, this jacket checks so many boxes. It's comfortable and fitting at the same time. Highly packable too. It's held up extremely well over the past two years, and I just bought my second one. You won't regret this purchase! Jason
