Great size and shape. Unless I'm trying to shave down weight for alpine multi-pitch, I'm always belaying with this. Wide basket, key lock nose, easy screw gate. In fact, the first carabineer I ever bought was a rock lock from BD and it's still kicking strong and looking as good as ever.

This carabiner just works. The gate opens wide and the screwgate feels secure every time. It’s a bit heavier than some other options but not a big deal. It holds up well without any fuss. Just a solid, dependable carabiner that does what it’s supposed to.
